This is a site is hosted by LIVEAXLEHOSTING, and they are a small company that is geared towards hosting automotive hobbyist web sites. They are running Linux based servers with Intel chips. Each server is based on a load sharing principle, meaning that it is not dedicated to a single site. This reduces their costs, and of course our cost. All the sites on their servers are replicated across several other servers on several other racks. All the hard drives are on SCSI hot swappable bays. So if a hard drive dies, they just remove it and replace it, with ZERO downtime in service.

All the servers are located in a very secure clean room, that is cleaner than any operating room you will hopefully never need. They can practically use the floor as a operating table.

As far as the software, they only use LINUX based systems, again to reduce cost, and to avoid those excessive licenses fees that some giant corporations like to charge. All the web sites come preloaded with software, so you can pretty much sign up and run with it. So far, so good, and definitely much better than the last company this site was hosted with. The other thing I like, NO MORE SPAM... This was a big issue with the other company that we were hosted with. The other company did ZERO/NOTHING to filter out the SPAM that we was receiving.
